The internet is horrendously slow and unreliable. You're welcome to play snake or record things for your ringtone though. All characters will have a cellphone in this setting.

You're out in the boonies though, so the best sort of connection you'll get is DSL. More commonly, you'll see dial-up. A laptop will allow you access to social media, forums, e-mail, and chat programs.
