Hi Pip! Before we can make a decision on your application, we'd like to ask for a little more detail on the following points:

• We would like some further information on the nerf of Simon's power suit. Being heavily armored and wielding enhanced strength in a normalized setting (such as the current Mist setting) negates most of the threat in this setting (and others like it). In an effort to maintain consistency and a 'survival horror' feel for this particular setting, we ask that you bring the suit's vulnerabilities to a more baseline-human level.

If you could expand on these in a reply to this comment (not as an edit on the original app) within 72 hours, we'll review the additional info and get back to you with a response. Thanks!

That sounds totally fair! Baseline human strength is okay by me... I wasn’t really thinking about it from a survival standpoint because in his canon the physical threat of the monsters is usually in the form of electromagnetic interference that fucks Simon up equally no matter what body he’s inhabiting, which... IS NOT HOW IT WORKS here......

Would “better off getting punched than somebody not in a metal exoskeleton, but baseline human strength and can be crushed like a can with sufficient force” work? The suit’s resistant to atmospheric pressure (which I expect will be useless here), but not invulnerable to damage, just made of hard material. So he’s only really as armored as, well, a robot is. One of the choices you can make in canon gets his entire forearm chewed clean off by a big ol monster so.... yeah....

YEAH sorry I spaced so hard on that section, I hope this clears things up!
